Teaching

  Carlos has been teaching guitar for over 20 years and as a peripatetic guitar tutor for the last 12 years. He has experience teaching a wide range of ages from year 2 (primary) up to ‘A’ level. He has written and arranged numerous compositions for schools, and has led several large guitar ensembles,held many concerts, and currently leads a guitar ensemble group at Roseland’s Primary school Hoddedson. He regularly prepares pupils for Music College Graded guitar exams, either individually or in group tuition, and is a trained teacher assessor for the Royal Academy 'Music Medals’ examinations. He strongly promotes live performing and ensures that all pupils get the opportunity to play in school /public performances. He is currently actively involved in a 'Wider Opportunities' guitar project for Enfield which involves whole class tuition for Guitar. .
